Welcome Team

Dear Living Hopers-

I hope you are enjoying the beginning of your summer and will find opportunities to grow in your walk during these months. I would like to ask you to consider doing something this next year that will assist in allowing Living Hope to be the church God has called us to be. From our very beginning four years ago, we have said that on Sunday mornings we will be a church that ‘serves an hour and worships an hour.’ I want to take this time to thank many of you that are doing just that and have been faithfully volunteering since the beginning! My heart is so grateful for all of you. Yet there are still many of us that have not taken that step to ‘serve an hour.’ One possible reason is that as your church leaders we have not effectively communicated the opportunities for you to serve on Sunday morning. With the blessing of our elders and staff, Brad Cummins and Brent Meador have taken the initiative to provide all of us a list of opportunities to serve for the next year. Will you please take time to read and pray over these opportunities? Your leadership is praying that if you have not already done so, that each one of us will take that step and volunteer to serve for one service, one Sunday a month for the next year and live out our desire at Living Hope to ‘serve an hour and worship an hour.’ I’m so grateful for all that God is doing at Living Hope!

Bulletins/Greet

Team Leader: Bill Gilman
Greet and hand out bulletins to all people at each entrance door leading to the Worship Area
1 Sunday a month 1 hour a Sunday

Coffee Set-Up

Team Leader: Julie Hill
Make coffee, set up and cover tables, provide coffee throughout Sunday morning. Clean up and take down tables
1 Sunday a month 2 hours a Sunday

Indoor Signs

Team Leader: Harley Combs
Set up or take down indoor signs that provide people directions to ministry areas
1 Sunday a month 1 hour a Sunday

Front Door Greeters

Team Leader:  Open
Open doors and greet people as they arrive for the worship hour

Information Table

Team Leader: Becky Bouldien
Set up or take down the area. Serve people by answering their questions, helping them find answers to their questions or directing them to a classroom

Lobby Greeters

Look for arriving newcomers and people standing in the lobby to greet, meet and assist.

Parking Lot Greeters

Team Leader:  Tony Maddox
Greet people at the drop-off area and assist familes with children and if inclement weather assist with an umbrella. Greet people at the parking lot entrance area. Set-up or take down three road signs

Greet and meet people sitting in your assigned area. Assist with offering in your area
