Gospel, Community, Mission

You cannot attend Living Hope Church for long before you realize these three words are our heartbeat. The same is true for Hope Park, the children’s ministry of LHC.

In Hope Park we join parents in teaching their children to:
• Love God wholeheartedly
• Form Faithful Friendships, and
• Serve Others Freely
All for the glory of God!

We do this through God-focus, Christ-centered teaching that begins in preschool and continues through elementary ages. We have an incredible team of screened and trained teachers who are dedicated and committed to teaching children in fun, creative, and interactive ways. They are passionate for God and passionate for kids to know Him.
Of course, each age experiences the truth of gospel, community, and mission age appropriately.

Preschoolers (birth-Pre-K) is offered at 9 and 10:45:

God’s love for infants and toddlers is shared through words of love and comforting care by adult volunteers. Center based teaching begins with age 2. Each Sunday, older
preschoolers have an opportunity to worship God through music as gifted worship leaders engage them in singing and learning songs about the great God that loves each of them.

K-Grade 4:
Children in kindergarten through 4th grade have two entirely different opportunities to grow in their love of God and love for others through our small group environment at 9 a.m. and “The Park” at 10:45 a.m.

At 9:00 children study the Bible from a God-centered viewpoint. Each week children are challenged to ask the question, “What does this week’s lesson say about God?”

At 10:45 a.m., “The Park” opens for K-1st and 2nd-5th Grade. The Park provides a time of active worship and fun activities as well as in-depth Bible study and small group experience. The lessons each week point to Jesus and end with a blessing over the children.

Children are invited to attend both the 9:00 and 10:45 hours.

Grapple – 5th and 6th Grade

Sunday morning is a great time for kids in 5th and 6th to “grapple” with how to apply Scripture to their everyday lives as adults and high school students pour into them – both on Sunday and beyond!
