HOPE PARK Sunday Mornings
Birth – Pre-K
HOPE PARK for Preschoolers (birth-Pre-K) is offered at 9 and 10:45 each Sunday morning. God’s love for preschoolers is shared through words of love and comforting care by adult volunteers who serve on a weekly basis and have been screened and trained to deal with the needs of preschoolers. Center based teaching begins with age 2-Pre-K.
Additionally, at both hours, preschoolers (age 1-Pre-K) have an opportunity to worship God through music as gifted worship leaders engage them in singing and learning songs about the great God that loves each of them.
K-Grade 4
Children in kindergarten through 4th grade have two entirely different opportunities to grow in their love of God and love for others through our small group environment at 9 a.m. and “The Park” at 10:45 a.m. At 9:00 children will study the Bible from a God-centered viewpoint. Each week children will be challenged to ask the question, “What does this week’s lesson say about God?” Children Desiring God curriculum series is used during this hour.
At 10:45 a.m., “The Park” opens for K-4th Grade. This is a large group and small group concept using the Promiseland series as the curriculum. The Park provides a time of active worship and fun activities as well as in-depth Bible study and small group experience.
Children may choose to go to either or both of the two hours offered each Sunday morning at HOPE PARK.
What would a Children’s Ministry look like if children were in charge?
Fun, Creative, Energetic
What would that same ministry look like if parents were in charge?
Purposeful, Biblically Strong, God-Centered
As the vision, structure, and core values for HOPE PARK, the Children’s Ministry of Living Hope, were developed each of these perspectives were considered with the primary emphasis being God’s command to parents (Deuteronomy 6:4-7) and Jesus’ desire for children (Mark 10:14).
student ministry
The Hub
Like Memphis is a Hub for FedEx, where planes come through to get what they need to continue their work in America and around the world, the Hub is a place for students to get refueled and sent back out. We want students leaving every week with a clear sense of mission and purpose, looking to take the Gospel into every area of their lives.
We believe in making student disciples who love God, live in community and serve their world.
6th-12th graders come to the Hub most Sunday nights from 5:30-8pm. We are usually found at Briarcrest Christian School off Houston Levee, but sometimes we are elsewhere. We are not connected to a building, just our mission and each other.
Join us this week as we worship, eat, hear the Word, teach it to each other, and share our lives.
GoGroups
These are small groups of students who are looking into God’s Word together and so much more. These groups are about students trying to hold each other up as they follow Christ and seek to serve their neighbors, city and world. Come experience it if you need someone to walk through life with.
High School : Sunday nights at the Hub.
Middle School : Sunday mornings, 9am at Briarcrest. Starting out in Room 116.
Other Stuff
Mission Trips (international, US and local), Mission Days, Retreats, Summer Camp, flag football tourneys, ultimate Frisbee tourneys, and whatever else comes along.

young adult
The Young Adult Ministry at Living Hope is a community of believers (18-35 years old) who are committed to living out the truth of the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
In keeping with the core values of Living Hope of Gospel, Community and Mission, the Young Adult Ministry is structured around these three areas:
Gospel – We strive to facilitate opportunities to further our understanding of how the truth of the gospel affects our daily lives and the decisions that we make. These opportunities take place throughout the year through a variety of forms including teaching, discipleship, and counseling relationships.
Our primary opportunity for this is our regularly scheduled Young Adult Gathering where we come together as a larger group and study and discuss scripture together. If you are interested in checking out our community, these gatherings are a great first introduction to the Young Adult Ministry.
Community – We believe that living in community is an essential part of being a disciple of Christ . We strive to assist young adults in creating authentic communities where encouragement, accountability and genuine relationships can be built. In addition to our larger gatherings, we experience this type of authentic community weekly in Small Groups (usually around 12 people). Young Adults at Living Hope are involved in Small Groups focused on a variety of life stages and based in homes around our area.
Mission – We believe that as the gospel permeates our hearts, we are changed from the inside-out, and our view of the world around us is affected. We become a Gospel-Centered community on Mission. Young Adults at Living Hope participate is a variety of missional opportunities both in the Memphis area and around the World.
