There are many different projects in which we at Living Hope can participate, particularly related to leadership development, medical training and prayer walking in Central Asia.
In addition, there are other ideas forming to work with women, sports camps for children and more. The organization with which we support hopes to sponsor at least two food & clothing distributions among the poorest of poor in 2008.
Listed below are the dates for this year’s projects. More types of project may form so please check back periodically to see if anything has changed. Let us know if you have a particular giftedness or talent with which you sense the Lord asking you to use in Central Asia. Please check your calendars and pray about the particular team(s) that you can join. If you already have a team in mind, please contact Matthew Watson at or call 881-6640 . We hope to enlist people for all the projects early so that team training and team development can begin on time. Cost for each project is $3000 per person which includes all flights, ground transportation, visa, guesthouse fees, all meals while in country, exit tax, phone cards, travel insurance, and translators. It does not include obtaining a passport, food in airports while traveling, immunizations or souvenirs. All funds are due prior to leaving the country unless otherwise approved by the team leader. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact Matthew.
October 24-Nov 5
Leadership: Basic Session 3/Graduation; Advanced Session 5 Need 6 people.

Team orientation is provided for team members prior to leaving the United States. Orientation includes: travel (visa, packing, money, communication), culture, cultural responsibilities, project preparation, how to raise funds, team building, security and re-entry.
Not everyone is expected to travel overseas but there is a great deal that can be done to help those in need. The best thing anyone can do is to pray! Please pray fervently for the people in Central Asia.
