Ways to Get Involved in Small Group Leadership at Living Hope…

Small Group Leader
Small Group Leaders facilitate community life and shepherd group members toward full devotion to Jesus Christ. The most strategic person in the life-change process at Living Hope will be the Small Group Leader. As a Small Group Leader at Living Hope, we ask that you commit to the following:
•     Embrace the vision, purpose, and core values of small groups at Living Hope
•     Grow as a Christ-follower
•     Improve your skills as a Small Group Leader through on-going leadership development
•     Intentionally shepherd the growth and care of your group members
•     Pray regularly for your group members
•     Connect with your coach regularly for support, care, guidance, and encouragement

 

Small Group Coach
A Small Group Coach is a shepherd to Small Group Leaders. We will not ask our Small Group Leaders to minister alone. A Small Group Coach is someone who partners with one or more Small Group Leaders. As a Small Group Coach, we ask you to commit to provide:
•     Encouragement and a listening ear
•     Support in finding resources and helps
•     Direction and guidance for sustaining a healthy small group
•     Shepherding and care of leaders

 

Small Group Connector
Small Group Connectors serve as the point of contact for people who are interested in
connecting into a small group. As a Small Group Connector at Living Hope, we ask you
to commit to:
•     “One stop connection,” our process of getting to know people and helping them find a group. At Living Hope, we intend for no one to be passed from person to person or anyone falling through the cracks during their journey to get connected.
•     Participation in planning and implementing our quarterly Living Hope Connections
•     Periodic participation in our Sunday morning small groups sign-up at Living Hope
worship services
•     On-going training
