Special Volunteer Needs
Our hearts desire at Living Hope is to provide an opportunity for you to grow in your spiritual walk with the Lord, and one of the ways to do that is to serve His church. Several of our areas that need help will involve coming early and staying late; however, if we have enough people to serve, these opportunities will not necessarily be every week. Please call the church office if you need more information or fill out the tear off section and indicate the area in which you would like to serve.
- Coffee—We need people to come early on Sunday mornings (8:00 am) to get the coffee made, the tables out and supplied with implements. We also need people to stay until after the second service has started to put everything away and back in storage. (11:15 am)
- Parking Lot Greeters—Don’t you love to see those guys waving at you as you come into the area? This would involve greeting, waving, helping people know where to park, and assisting visitors in knowing where to get information.
- Information Center—This would involve coming at 8:15 a.m. on Sunday mornings to set up and give out information before the first service or coming at 10:15 to get ready for attenders leaving and the attenders coming for the second service. This shift would also put all the supplies away after the second service.
- Worship Set up and Break Down—Setting up would require coming on a Saturday at a specified time to get everything in place for Sunday mornings. On Sunday after church, the children’s area and the common’s area are put away into storage. On Sunday evening after the students meet, the worship area is packed up and put into storage.
- Children’s Ministry Setup - Be a part of the Children’s set-up team by coming at 8:15 a.m. on Sundays mornings. Approximately 30 minutes is needed each week to set-up a children’s classroom. By coming just a few minutes early, you help to provide an environment conducive to a child learning about Jesus.
